You know, you end up finding inspiration in the most random places.
Dave and I were walking through downtown Portland one afternoon and there was this Indian woman wearing a sari that had just the most vibrant shades of blue in it.
I leaned over to Dave and told him those would be great colors to use for his next set of beads he was going to make. And here's what came out of that little adventure.
These blue beads are so cool. Dave figured out a way to make them glow like the pegs from an old "Light Bright" toy (tell me you didn't have one of those when you were growing up and I won't believe you).
For a little variety, I dangled these beads from little hoops. And the hoops I've used are great - no worries about the dangles trying to slide off when you're putting them on.
Yep, these are my new favorite earrings. I bet they'll be yours too.
